We have a very exciting opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation, to support, implement and monitor EHS policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments, develop prevention plans, and implement safety improvement measures across operations
- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Maintain a strong shopfloor presence to monitor EHS compliance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, define corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
- Deliver EHS training, raise awareness, manage onboarding, and act as the main point of contact for EHS matters
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with NEBOSH qualification or equivalent practical EHS experience
- Previous experience as an EHS Advisor in a production/manufacturing environment (automotive experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety, environmental regulations, and risk prevention practices
- Proactive, safety-first mindset with the ability to influence, advise, and lead by example
- Well-organised communicator with strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in MS Office
