Summary: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a modern warehousing business in supporting the team with ensuring software is running smoothly and to specification. Providing technical support across the operations and working closely with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled planned maintenance activities in line with the maintenance programme.
  • Use the internal systems to monitor and maintain optimal system performance and availability.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment or plant stoppages efficiently.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and permit systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on system capabilities and performance.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the system, including layout and warehouse management system connectivity, to enable fast fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of production lines and packaging systems, developed through hands-on experience in automated environments.
  • Strong electrical engineering skills, ideally supported by an HNC qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working within Health & Safety standards in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Effective and confident communicator.
  • Solid background in software and system applications.
  • Highly proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Practical experience with inverters, servo drives, HMI panels, 24V roller systems, shuttles, and lifts.
