Continuous Improvement Manager Coventry £45,000 + benefits Overview: Our client is an innovative, dynamic business who provide end-to-end supply chain solutions, partnering with major multiple grocery retailers to deliver excellence across every stage of the value chain. They are now seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team in Coventry at one of our flagship automated production sites. In this role, you will be at the heart of driving operational efficiency, identifying opportunities to optimise processes, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities: Lead and deliver site-wide continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance and efficiency. Analyse processes, systems, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities in productivity, cost reduction, and service delivery. Perform costs studies, economic comparisons and justification analyses Optimise the use of floor space, materials, personnel and equipment. Drive a culture of problem-solving, innovation, and accountability through effective coaching and training. Monitor and report on project outcomes, ensuring measurable benefits are achieved and sustained. Act as a change agent, championing Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies. Maintain site drawings used for site design improvements and operation flow mapping. Person Specification: Proven experience in a continuous improvement, industrial engineering or operational excellence role within a fast-paced manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable solutions. Experience in automated production environments. Product costing knowledge and an ability to identify opportunities for cost reductions. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levels. Qualification in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is highly beneficial. Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
