Summary:
Are you a natural sales hunter with a passion for winning new business? Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team and drive growth in the refrigerated and temperature-controlled transport sector on a national basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new customers requiring refrigerated and temperature-controlled transport services.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Arrange meetings with decision-makers and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
- Develop lasting relationships with key stakeholders in target accounts.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity in the cold chain logistics space.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven track record as a Sales Hunter or New Business Development Manager.
- Experience in refrigerated transport, cold chain logistics, food distribution, or FMCG logistics.
- Exceptional prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle.
- An existing network within food manufacturing, retail, or wholesale sectors is highly desirable.
