Salary: £55,000-£60,000
Summary: We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead a large-scale, 24/7 operation within a fast-paced environment. With responsibility for Operations and managing a Team of 500+ is a high-impact role requiring a natural leader who can navigate complexity, drive change, and deliver operational excellence. This is not a \"sit behind the desk\" role - we're looking for someone who is visible, engaged, and thrives on being at the heart of the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of across a 24/7 operation
- Drive significant operational change, embedding structure, discipline, and consistency
- Implement robust processes to improve productivity, efficiency, and throughput
- Increase operational capacity and volume through continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure high standards of health & safety, compliance, and operational performance
- Build a strong leadership culture across all levels of the operation
- Take full ownership of site performance, including KPIs, cost control, and service delivery
Key Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience operating at Operations Manager level within a complex operation
- Strong background in managing large, manual 24/7 operation
- Demonstrable success in leading and delivering significant operational change
- A hands-on, visible leadership style with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
- Strong process-driven mindset with a track record of implementing improvements
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent people leadership skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
