Our client is a fast-growing niche e-commerce fashion retailer, looking to hire a strategic Operations Director to take ownership of distribution and fulfilment through its next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role at a pivotal moment. You'll deliver a major warehouse upgrade project, bring in automation, and build a high-performing team, all while raising service levels and keeping costs under control.
What you'll do
- Set and deliver the end-to-end operations strategy
- Lead the warehouse relocation and automation programme from plan to go-live
- Own the fulfilment centre P&L and the KPIs that drive it
- Build, coach and develop a strong operations team
- Get more from carrier partnerships and take cost out of the supply chain
What you'll bring
- A track record leading operations in a high-growth B2C or e-commerce business
- Deep expertise in pick-pack-ship fulfilment and logistics
- Strong commercial acumen and a tech-first approach to problems
- Hands-on experience of warehouse moves and automation projects
- A drive for operational excellence and a genuine focus on the customer
