Summary:
Our client is a leading global logistics and supply chain partner, offering tailored, value‑driven solutions across multiple transport modes and industry sectors. They are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support and accelerate the growth strategy in the UK. This is a high‑impact role focused on winning new business, developing long‑term customer relationships, and expanding their freight service offering across new sectors and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business acquisition in line with the growth strategy
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline within the CRM
- Prospect and generate leads through proactive outreach and follow‑up
- Lead new customer onboarding, ensuring seamless business integration
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell the full range of logistics services
- Develop long‑term, profitable customer relationships through a value‑led sales approach
- Prepare and present analytical data, including monthly and annual sales reports and forecasts
- Predict future customer revenue and volume trends
- Act as the primary point of contact for allocated customers, resolving queries and complaints effectively
