We are seeking an exceptional Managing Director to lead a well-established and ambitious logistics business based in Manchester.

The Managing Director will have full P&L responsibility and lead the strategic, commercial and operational performance of the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include
- Developing and executing the company's strategic growth plan.
- Leading all commercial, operational, financial and people functions.
- Driving revenue growth, profitability and market expansion.
- Building and maintaining key customer, supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Identifying opportunities for operational improvement and business transformation.
- Creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.

Experience
We are looking for a proven executive leader with
- Previous experience as a Managing Director, CEO, Operations Director or equivalent senior leadership role.
- A strong track record within logistics, transport, supply chain, warehousing, distribution or related sectors.
- Demonstrable experience managing significant P&L responsibility.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- Experience leading large, multi-site operations and senior management teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
