Summary: We are working with a fantastic SME business that genuinely values its people and is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Supply Chain to join its growing team. This is a broad and influential role for a commercially minded supply chain professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and driving improvements. You will take ownership of key supply chain activities while leading and developing a team and working closely with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is confident making decisions quickly, comfortable challenging existing processes, and capable of taking ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the supply chain team, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain activities across demand planning, forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts and ensure supply plans align with business requirements
  • Analyse demand trends, customer requirements, and historical data to improve forecast accuracy
  • Take ownership of CRM systems and ensure accurate and effective use of supply chain data
  • Work extensively with Zoho CRM, using the system to manage information, reporting, and customer/supply chain activity
  • Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance
  • Work closely with sales, operations, finance, and other internal teams
  • Manage supplier relationships and proactively resolve supply and service issues
  • Identify risks within the supply chain and implement appropriate solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, systems, and ways of working
  • Make fast, commercially sound decisions in a time-sensitive environment

Key Skills/Experience

  • Proven experience operating at Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Manager, or similar senior level
  • Strong experience across demand planning and forecasting
  • Excellent understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
  • Extensive CRM experience, ideally including Zoho
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working with data, KPIs, and performance reporting
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do
  • Strong decision-making skills and comfortable working under pressure
  • Commercially aware with a practical and solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
