Location: Huntingdon Salary: £30,400 Summary: At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join an established retailer. The Shift Manager will assist the Site Operations Manager with the smooth running of the DC. Covering Warehouse and Transport operations, the Shift Manager will need to be familiar working within a manual operation, covering picking, packing and despatch, including KPI reports, planning and staff training and development. You will also be responsible for conducting daily driver briefings and debriefings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role covering both Warehouse and Transport operations, with a flexible and reactive approach to leadership. This role works on a rotating shift pattern – Monday – Friday (6am – 2pm/2pm – 10pm). Key Responsibilities: Assist the Site Operations Manager with the smooth running of the distribution centre. Manage the Cross Dock operation, covering picking, packing and despatch functions Conduct KPI reporting, planning and staff training and development for the team covering both Warehousing and Transport operations Conduct daily driver briefings and debriefings, ensuring fleet, equipment and resourcing levels meet demand.
