Planning and Logistics Manager Reading Area 3 days at site/hybrid £55,000- £60,000pa + benefits You will be responsible for overseeing inventory planning warehouse operations, global logistics, and leading the demand planning strategy to support the efficient global movement of products. You will take a hands-on approach to managing a dynamic team, working closely with global commercial and operational stakeholders to ensure just-in-time inventory positioning and cost-effective delivery. Ideally you will have experience in fmcg, consumer or pharmaceutical industries. Key Responsibilities: Ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operations Manage all logistics operations, including freight procurement, contract negotiation, and relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and airlines Ensuring the provision of a first-class service in the most cost-effective manner Implement a global demand planning strategy Manage the receiving / despatch of goods in line with customer needs while ensuring individual and team KPI\’s are met.
