The Birtenshaw Group is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant to join the Finance Team within Birtenshaw's Corporate Services. This role offers exposure to all aspects of transactional finance, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, and cash management. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider finance team to ensure all ledgers are accurately maintained while supporting the effective management of working capital.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with external customers, suppliers, and colleagues across the organisation. In addition to handling transactional activities, the role will also involve supporting the preparation and delivery of timely and accurate financial information across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reporting cycles.
The position requires excellent interpersonal and IT skills, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills in particular will be a requirement of the role. Agile working will be offered following a period of induction/training.
