Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of the machinery in Electronics Assembly
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, etc.
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to work with technical support groups for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards to component level
  • Available for daily and weekend overtime
  • Experience with IA and other robotics programming and problem-solving.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic systems
  • Three (3) + years in a technical or mechanical position

OPTIONAL/PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Five (5) + years in a manufacturing environment
  • Pass Mechanical Aptitude test
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • VTI experience
  • Molding and coatings experience
  • PLC/Robotics programming

EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED

The position may occasionally need to lift/pull up to 50 pounds and have specific vision abilities related to close and colour vision. While performing the job the position is highly exposed to moving vehicles/machinery and factory equipment. The position may be required to work overtime to meet deadlines and requirements.
