The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 £ per year.
This is a non‑training post equivalent to FY2 level. It is a 12‑month position in the Department of Paediatric Plastic, Hand and Reconstructive Surgery at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital, a specialist tertiary referral centre treating paediatric patients with plastic surgical problems. The post holder will gain broad experience in congenital hand surgery, vascular anomalies, cleft lip and palate surgery, facial palsy including corneal re‑innervation, and all aspects of burn care in children.
The successful candidate will support the middle‑grade rota and the hospital‑at‑night rota for the surgery division. The role involves providing hands‑on experience, participating in operative and non‑operative clinical responsibilities, and receiving regular teaching from middle‑grade doctors and consultants.
