Applicants are invited for a 12 months Advanced Paediatric Cardiac Critical Care Fellowship Programme at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. This programme is designed to enhance critical care knowledge and skills for dedicated paediatric critical care doctors or paediatric cardiologists wishing to work in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) environment.
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated education supervisor who will set a personal development plan based on the candidate's training background. There will be regular assessments, including annual multisource feedback. The candidate is expected to acquire the capabilities to meet the objectives within the 12 months WTE fellowship programme; however, there may be an extension of the fellowship period to enable the candidate to gain these capabilities.
