This is a part-time Assistant Pastor role at Birmingham Vineyard. We are seeking more than someone to simply maintain a ministry. We are looking for a pioneering leader who will build on strong foundations and help shape the future of worship within our growing church community.
As part of the pastoral team, you will provide pastoral oversight to our worship ministries, cultivating spiritually healthy teams, nurturing leaders, and fostering a culture of spirit-led worship. Your influence will extend beyond the worship ministry, contributing to the health and growth of the whole church through areas such as preaching, teaching, and broader pastoral leadership. There will also be opportunities to discern and develop your wider pastoral calling, such as site pastoring.
This role may be combined with the other Assistant Pastor position currently being recruited, forming a single full-time appointment, or it may be applied for as a standalone, part-time role.

- Salary: Dependent on experience £27,000 - £33,500 pro rata
- Work Pattern/Hours: The role is based on 2.5 days per week (17.5 hours)

City Transformation is the umbrella term encompassing our existing compassion ministries and ministries with an outward focus to serve those beyond the church. The successful candidate will not be a maintainer of a ministry but a pioneering leader who will build on what already exists to serve our growing church community.
