The Birmingham Vernon Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets is a youth organisation dedicated to providing young people with the opportunity to develop essential life skills through nautical and military training. Our mission is to inspire and empower the youth of Birmingham by instilling values such as teamwork, discipline, and leadership.

We offer a wide range of activities that include sailing, kayaking, and other water-based sports, alongside military-style training that fosters personal development. Our cadets participate in various competitions and events, which not only enhance their skills but also build camaraderie among peers.

At Birmingham Vernon, we believe in the importance of community engagement. We actively participate in local events and initiatives, promoting a sense of responsibility and service among our cadets. Our experienced instructors are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

We welcome young individuals aged 10 to 18 years, regardless of their background or experience. Our inclusive approach ensures that every cadet has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
