No day is ever the same when working in events! Beccy Richards and Nat Humphrey in our Events Team work hard throughout the year to deliver our Rainbow Rush, Ride the Reservoir, The Chocolate 5K, Memory Walk and much more! Both Beccy and Nat joined us in the autumn of 2021. They play a crucial role in planning events behind the scenes, securing venues and suppliers, carrying out feasibility studies, writing up risk assessments and method statements, and recruiting volunteers months in advance, as well as promoting the event to participants and making sure everything goes well on the day. They also look after our participants in external events including Birmingham Running Festival, Tough Mudder and the London Marathon.
Nat said: “No day is ever the same when working in events! It can be so full on, especially the weeks leading up to the actual day, with the lugging of equipment and 4am starts. It’s always such a thrill though, and the feeling you get when everyone is having the best time at the event you’ve been working so hard on for so many months, just makes it all worth it!”

We embrace diversity of culture, background and environment knowing it enriches our workplace and our relationships with our local communities. We are committed to building a culture of inclusion and belonging. We would love to hear from you, about what makes you uniquely you and how this opportunity will support you to succeed.
