We’re looking for a Donations and Cash Processing Administrator to play a vital role in delivering a high‑quality supporter journey whilst making sure donations are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
What You’ll Be Doing
Based within our Fundraising and Finance Teams, you’ll be crucial to making sure all donations received by the Hospice are received and processed accurately, from opening the post to sorting, processing, recording and reconciliations. Consistent coding and recording of information is essential and must be in line with the Hospice’s data policy. The information systems must be updated accurately and efficiently relating to donors, contacts, activities and events, including recording gift aid. This is a detail‑driven role with a strong customer service focus, perfect for someone who enjoys combining finance, data, and people‑focused work. You’ll work closely with fundraising colleagues, ensuring donations are processed accurately and supporters are thanked promptly, professionally, and in line with our values. You will be someone who can work occasional times at our Erdington site.

You’ll be organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You enjoy working with data, systems, and processes but never lose sight of the people behind them.
What you’ll bring
- Good standard of education
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
- Good attention to detail with experience of data inputting
- Experience of working in an administrative, finance, or customer service role
- Confidence handling sensitive or confidential information
- Experience with Donorflex or working in a charity environment is desirable but not essential — we value attitude and willingness to learn just as much as experience.
