Position Overview

We are seeking an

Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead process optimization, equipment improvements, and production support across our operations.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, and the ability to implement engineering solutions that improve quality, efficiency, and cost- effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development, optimization, and documentation of existing and new manufacturing and distribution processes.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and integrate new manufacturing technologies to support product innovation.
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure optimal throughput and minimal downtime.
  • Provide engineering support for equipment maintenance, tooling design, and automation projects.
  • Train production staff on best practices, process changes, and safety standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related quality issues.

Required Skills & Experience: Required

  • High-speed project management with a focus on scrap reduction, productivity improvement, and capital expenditures.
  • Hands-on machining troubleshooting skills.
  • Control systems design and troubleshooting (Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC, Vision

Systems).

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and VA/VE principles.
  • Part costing and analysis expertise.
  • Proficient in high level data analysis and processing.

Preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines
  • Experience with hard chrome electroplating and thin-film (PVD/CVD) coating.
  • Background in robotics and facilities management.
  • Knowledge of MIOSHA/EGLE compliance and preventative maintenance programs.
