Responsibilities
- Speaking with clients
- Ordering and indexing medical records and bills
- Accounting of case expenses
- Receiving and screening visitors
- Proofreading and correcting prepared materials
- Composing routine letters and memoranda
Minimum Requirements
- High school graduate
- Three yearsβ experience as a paralegal or legal secretary (preferred)
- Strong PC skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with firm personnel at all levels with a high degree of professionalism
- Excellent written communication skills including accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to work independently/sort priorities with minimal direct supervision
- Paralegal certification is a plus, but not required
