Landmark Settlement & Title is a small title company located in Birmingham on Grandview Parkway. They are looking to add an attorney to relieve some of the day to day duties in the office to be able to work more on business development. Also not opposed to talking with anyone who has any interest in running a branch in their hometown.
Basic job description:
- 40 hours a week IN OFFICE—no remote option
- Pay commensurate with experience/skill but will be highly commission based
- Working all stages of a file from contract to post closing
- Working closely with lenders and realtors to facilitate transactions
- Creating closing statements, affidavits, and other various closing documents
- General office management
Essentially looking to train the right person to take over running the Birmingham office on a day to day basis. This process will take years to fully come to fruition. This person must be highly social; this job is much more about sales and relationships than lawyering. They must be driven by the desire to make money… this job can pay very well if you are driven to create your own book of business… but the lawyers in our industry must stay very humble. This is not a job for someone who wants to hang their diploma in a fancy office. It is for someone who wants to work hard and make good money.
