Associate Attorney – Workers’ Comp

Vernis & Bowling’s downtown Birmingham office is seeking an Associate Attorney for itsWorkers’ Compensation Defense department.

No experience as a licensed lawyer or in Workers’ Compensation is required! This is an opportunity to get one-on-one mentoring. Any relevant experience is a plus.

Our associates have the opportunity to direct and lead files, provide initial analysis, develop case strategy, conduct discovery, take depositions, draft motions, attend hearings and negotiate settlements. Associates will also be able to assist with and lead trials.

Candidates must be current members of the Alabama Bar in good standing.
