We are seeking two experienced Electrical Engineers to support electrical disconnection and safety works at an operational factory site in Ibstock. The role will involve isolating and disconnecting electrical systems and ensuring all works are completed safely and in compliance with UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe isolation of electrical supplies (single & three-phase)
  • Disconnecting electrical wiring and cabling from machinery and panels
  • Lock-out / Tag-out (LOTO) procedures
  • Verification of dead and electrical safety testing
  • Working to permits-to-work and RAMS
  • Ensuring all circuits and equipment are left safe
  • Labelling and basic documentation of disconnected systems
  • Liaising with site management and other contractors

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial or factory electrical environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety and isolation procedures
  • Understanding of Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
  • Ability to work safely as part of a two-person team
  • ECS / CSCS card (preferred)
  • 18th Edition (desirable)
  • Own PPE and tools (preferred)
  • Right to work in the UK
