Birmingham Panthers is building something different. We're not simply creating a netball club. We're building a modern women's sports brand that combines elite performance, community impact and commercial ambition. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Marketing Executive who will become the operational engine of our Audience Growth team. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage a single channel or specialise in one discipline. It's a role for someone who thrives on making things happen.

You’ll report into the Head of Audience Growth, and help to bring their strategy to life, campaigns into results and events into memorable experiences. You’ll coordinate activity across the organisation, oversee multiple projects simultaneously and ensure our marketing, commercial, community and matchday teams are all pulling in the same direction. If you're highly organised, commercially aware, and enjoy being at the centre of a fast-moving environment, this is an opportunity to help shape one of the most ambitious women's sports organisations in the country.

Role Purpose

The Marketing Executive is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and delivery of audience‑growth activities across Birmingham Panthers. Acting as the central point of coordination within the function, you’ll oversee campaign planning, stakeholder coordination, agency delivery and cross‑functional projects. You’ll ensure campaigns are delivered on time, events are properly supported, commercial commitments are activated, and every audience touchpoint reflects the Birmingham Panthers brand. This role sits at the heart of the organisation and works closely with colleagues across Community, Performance, Commercial and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Planning & Delivery: Coordinate the delivery of marketing campaigns across ticketing, memberships, merchandise, community programmes and events. Update and maintain campaign plans, timelines and delivery schedules. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. Track progress against objectives and identify risks before they become issues. Support the Head of Audience Growth in delivering the Audience Growth strategy.
  • Cross‑Functional Project Management: Act as the link between Marketing, Commercial, Community, Performance and Operations. Ensure internal stakeholders are aligned on priorities, timelines and deliverables. Coordinate planning meetings and maintain visibility across projects. Help create a culture of accountability and delivery.
  • Matchday & Event Delivery: Work alongside the Events & Operations team to bring the Panthers brand to life at matches and events. Coordinate marketing activity before, during and after events. Support the planning and delivery of fan experiences, activations and commercial partner activity. Support in ensuring matchdays feel joined‑up, professional and consistent with the Panthers brand. Help identify opportunities to enhance the fan experience and grow attendance.
  • Agency & Supplier Coordination: Be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day relationships with external agencies, suppliers and freelancers. Coordinate briefs, timelines, feedback and approvals. Ensure agency output aligns with campaign objectives and brand standards. Monitor delivery and hold partners accountable for deadlines and quality.
  • Brand & Content Coordination: Help maintain consistency across all Birmingham Panthers communications. Ensure campaigns align with the club's messaging and positioning. Coordinate asset requirements across internal teams and external partners. Support the development and implementation of marketing materials, presentations and promotional assets.
  • Data & Reporting: Track campaign performance metrics. Maintain project and campaign reporting. Support audience growth reporting across ticketing, database growth and engagement. Use insight and feedback to help improve future activity.

What success looks like

  • Campaigns are delivered consistently and on time.
  • Internal teams are aligned and informed.
  • Agencies produce high‑quality work and meet deadlines.
  • Matchdays and events feel organised, engaging and professional.
  • Commercial commitments are fulfilled.
  • The Head of Audience Growth can focus on strategy because delivery is under control.

Who We're Looking For

You’ll likely have experience in marketing, campaigns, events, project management or account management. More importantly, you’ll be someone who:

  • Loves organisation and creating structure.
  • Can juggle multiple projects without dropping details.
  • Builds strong relationships across different teams.
  • Takes ownership and solves problems proactively.
  • Is comfortable working in a fast‑moving, ambitious environment.
  • Enjoys being the person who keeps everything moving.

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, projects or events.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Experience in briefing and managing agencies or suppliers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines.

Desirable:
