Birmingham Newman University invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Business Management within its School of Business. The role supports the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate business degree programmes and contributes to the university's reputation for innovative teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver core modules and other teaching units across the business programmes.
  • Design, plan and assess learning activities, ensuring engaging and inclusive learning environments.
  • Supervise student projects and provide student‐centred support and supervision.
  • Contribute to the superior student experience that earned the university 1st place in the Social Inclusion index by the Sunday Times Good University Guide.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated teaching/training experience in business undergraduate modules and, where possible, postgraduate or professional qualification delivery.
  • Expertise in accounting, finance, digital marketing, data analytics or multidisciplinary business areas.
  • Proven ability to develop engaging learning activities, assess students effectively, and support the wider student experience.
  • Willingness to develop and publish research or scholarship in the lecturer's subject area.
