Contract Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week (plus significant out-of-hours duties at certain times of year)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the student recruitment strategy, building strong relationships with schools, colleges, and community organisations.
  • Promote the internal experience of studying at Birmingham Newman University through visits to schools, colleges, UK recruitment fairs, and on-campus events.
  • Lead and coordinate campus visits, large-scale events, and a team of student ambassadors.
  • Collect and analyse engagement data to inform future recruitment strategies and contribute to marketing initiatives and market research.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, Health & Safety, and sector guidelines.
  • Support wider departmental activity during peak periods and deputise for the Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager when required.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with experience in a people-focused environment and delivering presentations to large groups.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good IT competence and strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
  • Flexibility to travel, occasional evening/weekend work and an enhanced DBS check.
