Birmingham Newman University is seeking a part-time IT Service Desk Technician to work on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first‑line support on the busy IT Service Desk.
  • Answer and log calls, and handle face‑to‑face queries from staff, students, and visitors.
  • Manage call logging and email systems.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer‑facing role with strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and email.
  • Willingness to learn and develop additional IT skills.
