We are seeking to recruit a food and beverage assistant to work 25 hours per week in one of our customer-facing catering outlets. The successful candidate will typically work Monday – Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work. The post holder will play a key role in enhancing the student experience at Birmingham Newman University and ensuring that the catering services maintain our very high standards.

You will be an essential team member in providing an exceptional catering service to staff, students and external visitors. You will also support the unit supervisor and catering team in their day-to-day duties, ensuring compliance with all food service, safety standards and operational controls. You will carry out general food preparation and service duties within Birmingham Newman University. A flexible approach to work and the ability to work well as part of a team are also essential.
