Newman University seeks to appoint an Administrator to join its Accommodation and Campus Services Team. This key customer-facing role supports the smooth operation of accommodation services and contributes to a positive experience for students and other service users.
Responsibilities
- The role provides a wide range of administrative and operational support, including responding to enquiries, processing financial and management information, maintaining accurate records, and supporting general office administration.
- It involves working closely with the Accommodation Manager to ensure efficient department operations and a consistently high standard of customer service.
- The role operates on a rota basis Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work.
Qualifications
- GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
- Experience in an administrative role with strong customer service.
- Managing financial administrative processes, accurate information handling, record maintenance, and data use for service monitoring and improvement.
- Organisational skills, prioritisation, meeting deadlines, and accuracy in a busy environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication, confidence in dealing with enquiries, attention to detail, reliability, and a professional customer service approach.
