About Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery

Various Part Time / Fixed Term roles until 8th January 2027

(Β£13.45 per hour)

  • Working 37 hours Wednesday - Sundays
  • Working 7.4 hours on Tuesdays

What You'll Be Doing

You'll ensure every visitor has a brilliant experience at our museum. This means being the friendly face that welcomes people and helps them make the most of their visit.

  • Encourage visitors to engage with exhibits, workshops, events and facilities
  • Provide excellent customer care and achieve sales targets
  • Deliver consistently high levels of customer service
  • Help visitors with queries in a prompt, professional and friendly manner
  • Have an understanding of safeguarding

What We're Looking For

We want enthusiastic, hardworking people who take real pleasure in delivering excellent visitor experiences. You'll be confident with great verbal communication skills and have an aptitude for sales, remaining calm under pressure, and be ready to roll up your sleeves for any task.
