Birmingham Hospice is looking for a talented Retail Communications Officer to join our Income Generation and Marketing Team.
Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £30,484 – £33,037 per year (depends on experience)
About the Role: With 26 charity shops and more on the way, retail is vital to how we fund our care. This brand-new position focuses on building communications that support retail income, donations and footfall. The role is hybrid, split between our offices in Selly Park, Erdington, our shops and home.
Responsibilities:
- Produce compelling content for all social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram.
- Collaborate with marketing and retail managers to develop campaign ideas that drive retail income, donations and footfall.
- Support marketing of clearances, furniture collections and new shop launches.
Who we’re looking for:
- Creative, enthusiastic communicator with a passion for social media and confidence in producing engaging content.
- Experience as a digital marketing executive, digital content creator, marketing assistant or similar.
- Excellent written communication skills, organised with attention to detail.
- Experience creating graphics, reels and editing in-app and with Canva and InDesign (or similar).
- Full driving licence, access to a car and willingness to travel between shops.
- Happy to bring a selection of best social media content to interview.
