The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Support Assistant to work with a young person in our Reception Class. A level 3 TA qualification is desirable, as well as experience supporting SEND pupils. A minimum of a Level 2 BSL qualification or equivalent is essential. Working hours are flexible, initially 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday. This position is temporary until 31st July 2027 or until the child leaves the school, or dependent on additional funding received to support individual pupils' needs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with children who have a hearing impairment and can use basic British Sign Language and implement speech and language interventions.
  • Experience working with children who require additional support for learning.
  • Relevant skills and strategies to ensure support can be implemented to meet the requirements in an EHCP, including working with parents and carers and the SENCO.
  • Good behaviour management strategies.
  • Flexible and well-organised.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

  • Level 3 TA qualification desirable; Level 2 BSL qualification essential.
