We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our friendly team at St. George’s Church of England Primary School. This is an important role in helping us provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our children, staff and visitors.

Key Details

  • Hours: 10 hours per week (3:30–5:30 pm or 4:00–6:00 pm)
  • Salary: £6,037 – £6,228
  • Reporting to: Site Manager

About the Role

You will be responsible for cleaning classrooms and shared areas to a high standard. This may include:

  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Cleaning toilets and wash areas
  • Wiping surfaces, fixtures and fittings
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  • Using cleaning equipment and materials safely

You will also help to keep the school tidy by spotting jobs that need doing and taking pride in your work.

All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including two suitable references, an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) including a children’s barred list check where the role involves regulated activity, and where relevant, a childcare disqualification check.
