Are you passionate about swimming? Birmingham Leisure Trust aims to encourage active, healthy lifestyles in a safe, warm, clean, friendly and fun environment. We are recruiting a Swimming Instructor to join our team to deliver high-quality lessons and support an active community.
By following the Swim England learn to swim framework, we develop swimmers’ confidence through fun and progressive lessons. Many swimmers progress to competitive levels and beyond.
We offer flexible teaching hours to fit around your commitments and provide safeguarding/DBS checks, insurance coverage, and ongoing training and development through our Aquatic Training Academy.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Provide safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons to participants of all ages and backgrounds.
- Deliver lessons in accordance with Swim England learn to swim framework.
Qualifications and requirements:
- STA Award / Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formerly ASA) Level 2.
- Valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers (Essential).
- DBS check required.
