Job overview

Are you interested in Enteral Nutrition, PEGs, and Nasogastric Tubes? Do you want to enhance your nursing skills by caring for people with feeding tubes? Do you want to challenge yourself? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Nurse to join our established, award-winning community enteral nutrition team on a fixed-term basis.

Main duties of the job

The role involves working with adult patients alongside dietitians, community-based district nursing staff, and our experienced Nutrition Nursing team to advise and support on all aspects of enteral feeding in adults. The team liaises with acute units, enteral feeding companies, community hospitals, and nursing homes regarding home enteral feeding discharges, assessments, direct patient care, and staff training. The successful candidate should have experience in enteral feeding. Working with the Specialist Nutrition Nurses for Adults, you will gain expert knowledge and support patients at home to prevent hospital admissions.
