Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC) are seeking to recruit Bank Level 5 Learning Disabilities Nurses for flexible working opportunities within Birmingham through our Trust Bank. The Learning Disability Services provide support to service users with learning disabilities who have challenging behavioral needs, physical disabilities as well as additional health needs.

Responsibilities

As an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be expected to contribute to the setting and maintenance of achievable standards of patient care and quality outcomes.

Requirements

  • Candidates MUST be qualified with relevant and recent nursing experience. We will NOT accept applications from unqualified or Student Nurses for this position.

For further information on the role, please see the attached assignment brief. BCHC provide high quality community and specialist services within Birmingham and the West Midlands. We deliver over 100 clinical services, out in people\\\’s homes and in over 200 healthcare settings for adults, children, people with learning disabilities, those with rehabilitation needs and also dental services. In accordance with UK Home Office requirements, Band 2 clinical and non-clinical roles and Band 3 Non-Clinical roles are not eligible for sponsorship. The majority of non-clinical roles (Agenda for Change Band 3 – 6) with the exception of those which appear on this list, will not meet the minimum requirements set by UK Visas and Immigration to sponsor candidates to work in the UK. All non-clinical roles (Agenda for Change Bands 7 – 9) that meet the prescribed skill level (RQF 6) and salary threshold will be eligible for sponsorship. The Trust will accept applications from candidates who can evidence their right to work in the UK or via alternative visa routes.
