Join our Visiting Lecturer Pool for our School of Arts in the Department of Fashion and Jewellery We are seeking to recruit a pool of Visiting Lecturers who can contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Department of Fashion and Jewellery. The Department of Fashion and Jewellery is internationally recognised for its excellence in creative education and professional practice. Located within the School of Arts, the Department has a long-standing reputation for nurturing innovative designers, makers and creative entrepreneurs who go on to shape the future of the global fashion, textiles and jewellery and accessories industries. Our courses are built around contemporary industry, enabling students to develop creative, technical and professional skills through live projects, industry collaborations and practice-based learning. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in areas including:

  • Fashion Design - garment technology, pattern cutting, make,
  • Fashion Communication - art direction, styling
  • Fashion buying and marketing, events
  • Textiles Design, surface design for interior and fashion
  • Jewellery Design
  • Silversmithing
  • Gemmology
  • Digital Fashion Technologies

The Department maintains strong relationships with leading fashion and jewellery brands, manufacturers, retailers, independent designers and professional bodies, ensuring that teaching reflects current industry trends, technological developments and professional expectations.
