The Pavilion is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to support the delivery of sporting activities and events. Working as part of a team you will help ensure facilities are prepared and maintained to a high standard, providing a welcoming and professional experience for students, staff and external customers. You will support the smooth running of indoor and outdoor events, assist with event setups, deliver excellent customer service and ensure that health and safety procedures are always followed.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to work weekend shifts and one additional day during the week.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good attendance and punctuality record.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your own initiative when required.
  • Effective time management to meet operational objectives.
  • Confident, professional and reliable approach to work.
  • Friendly, approachable and customer-focused personality.
  • Willingness to work outdoors, including setting up and dismantling equipment before and after sporting events.

Desirable Criteria

  • Interest in sport, fitness or leisure activities.
  • Experience working within a sports, leisure or events environment.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Good level of personal fitness and commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
  • Food hygiene certification.
