Birmingham City University is seeking a Research Fellow to join the Department of Engineering, supporting the UKRI-funded SMART-SIP+ project to reduce CO₂ emissions in rural Bangladesh by replacing diesel pumps with solar-powered alternatives and using surplus solar energy for local equipment.
You will lead the technical development of a lightweight Python-centric, open-source DSS and translate findings into a user-friendly tool for farmers, investors, and policymakers.
