Birmingham City University is a large and diverse place to study right in the heart of the city. Student and Academic Services are currently seeking a Programme Administrator to join their team on a fixed term contract.
The role will suit an experienced administrator, with experience in accurate record management and a keen eye for detail. You will be supporting the administration of academic programmes in line with agreed university regulations, policies, and service standards, ensuring programmes adhere to institutional strategy.
The post holder will provide high quality, efficient and effective administrative support for students with responsibility for a wide range of course administration duties, sharing responsibility for efficient and seamless delivery of student services across the School.
The role will involve administration of a portfolio of courses and modules (postgraduate and undergraduate), maintaining student records and providing services and support to students and colleagues across the student lifecycle from clearing to completion.
You will bring experience from a fast-paced administrative environment, where you have responded to queries promptly and professionally. You will demonstrate strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and maintain exceptional attention to detail. A clear commitment to delivering high-quality service to both students and staff is essential.
You will also have proven experience using digital systems to manage data and maintain accurate records.
