Role Summary

As Enrolment Officer, you will take ownership of the University’s enrolment activities, ensuring processes are delivered effectively, accurately and in line with University regulations and deadlines. You will lead and support a team of Enrolment and Graduation Coordinators, providing guidance, allocating work and monitoring delivery across key enrolment activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of annual enrolment processes, ensuring activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage, support and develop a team of Enrolment and Graduation Coordinators, allocating workloads and supporting effective performance.
  • Work collaboratively with academic and professional services teams to coordinate enrolment activities, communications and student record management.
  • Oversee the delivery of enrolment and verification services, responding to requests from students, staff and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate procedures, guidance documents and records relating to enrolment processes.
  • Use student record systems and data to monitor progress, identify issues and provide reports on enrolment activity.
  • Act as a key point of contact for enrolment enquiries, providing excellent customer service and resolving queries effectively.
  • Support the delivery of graduation activities and other key University events, including enrolment, open days and clearing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the development of more efficient ways of working.

Requirements

  • Experience of leading, supporting or coordinating administrative teams and activities.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
  • Experience using student information systems, databases or similar record management systems.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering a high‑quality customer service experience in a busy environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify and support process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

    Desirable Experience

    • Experience working within higher education administration.
    • Knowledge of university enrolment processes, regulations and procedures.
    • Experience coordinating events or large‑scale operational activities.
