Responsibilities
- Deliver highest quality financial and administrative support to ensure staff and students receive best possible service at BCU libraries.
- Lead monitoring and oversight of the L&LR budget, improving services, modernising systems and technology.
- Manage a significant financial budget, liaising closely with the Finance department, providing accurate information, explaining variances and forecasting.
- Approve requisitions and purchase card purchases, track Open POs, invoices on hold, recharge reports and maintain accurate financial information for L&R.
- Oversee general administrative functions, including managing audits and key supplies.
Qualifications
- Financial and administrative skills with experience in budget management.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, able to liaise with Finance and other departments.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Applicants with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
