Looking for a flexible student job? We're hiring an Assistant to support our Partnerships Manager at BCUSU. At BCUSU, we work with external companies that pay to advertise their products or services to students. We call these companies 'partners'. Partners may want to book with us for digital advertising, in-person events or activations, or to promote a student opportunity.
As a Partnerships Assistant, you'll help to facilitate new partner bookings, while providing administrative support for potential bookings.
What experience do you need? No previous experience is required for this position, however an understanding of Microsoft Office applications is desirable, as well as strong communication skills in a customer service or sales environment.
What you will need to do:
- Support research into external organisations and opportunities that may engage the student population of BCU
- Provide administrative and operational support for the Partnerships function of BCUSU
- Assist with the coordination and support of external partners visiting campus
Casual contract with flexible hours, up to a maximum of 20 hours per week, depending on business need and student timetable availability.

Interviews: Shortlisting will take place on the week commencing Monday 15th June, with interviews taking place from week commencing Monday 22nd June. As we are expecting a high number of applicants, we will only be able to inform successful candidates. If you haven't heard back from us by Monday 22nd June, it is likely your application has been unsuccessful. Interviews are typically 30-45 minutes in length with the manager of the department. There will be various questions to help us identify that you have the skills and personal attributes that we value in our student staff. Online interviews can be offered.
