Kit and Equipment Operations
- Assist the Academy Kit Manager with kit and equipment requirements for Academy players, staff, the Pre-Academy and Blues Elite.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the PDP and schoolboy programmes by ensuring kit and equipment requirements are met for training and fixtures.
- Ensure all distributed kit is printed with the relevant initials or numbers.
- Attend staff meetings where kit department input is required to support the day-to-day running of the Academy programme.
- Assist with First Team duties as required by the First Team Kit Manager, including cover for First Team home and away games where required.
Distribution and Fixture Support
- Assist with kit distribution for PDP training sessions and fixtures, and lead kit distribution for Academy schoolboy age groups, the Pre-Academy and Blues Elite.
- Support seasonal kit distribution and distribution for new Academy staff and players, liaising with relevant Academy staff, players and parents as required.
- Attend Academy fixtures when required by the Academy Kit Manager.
Stock Control and Ordering
- Support regular stock checks and help maintain appropriate kit and equipment levels throughout the season.
- Assist with ordering Academy kit and equipment to maintain appropriate stock levels.
Laundry and Facilities Standards
- Ensure Academy staff and player training and match kit is laundered daily and available when required.
- Work in the laundry room, including washing, drying, folding and putting away kit from training and matches to the standards required by the Club, Academy Kit Manager and the First Team Kit Manager.
- Maintain high standards across the laundry room, kit room, boot room and equipment storage areas, keeping work areas clean, safe, tidy and organised.
Professional standards and compliance
- Manage data securely in line with GDPR and Club data protection procedures.
- Engage in the Club competency framework, appraisal process and relevant continuing professional development.
- Comply with Staff Handbook policies, particularly safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, data protection, health and safety, and safer working practices.
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by the Academy Kit Manager and Head of Academy Operations.
