Are you passionate about inspiring young people ages 16 to 19 both on and off the sports field?
We are seeking experienced, passionate and creative individuals to join our team in delivering our high quality teaching, learning and assessment across out 16-19 Education programme. You will work in line with internal and external (LFE) partner standards and operating procedures in terms of teaching, learning and assessment.
You will be able to demonstrate your experience of successfully delivering high quality education programmes to young people and the positive impact this has.
The coaching element of the role will see you coaching and managing one of the education programme football teams and working closely with the Football Lead to play an active part in delivering the FEP playing philosophy to learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver inspiring, interactive and engaging education sessions for all participants to provide an outstanding professional and enjoyable learning experience.
- Providing a safe and fun environment for young people to develop skills, improve their mental and physical wellbeing and promote personal development.
- Ensure that safeguarding is at the heart of all work, applying best practices and policies in all aspects of student support and sessions including registers, medical needs and additional support is reviewed prior to each session and adaptations made where required.
- Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with young people, engaging them in activities that promote personal and social development.
- Ensure all administration processes are implemented for sessions including registers, session plans and registration forms are up to date and processed correctly.
- Devise set and mark assignments / assessments in line with LFE assessment requirements Support internal quality assurance for education provision within BCFC Foundation for moderation.
- To ensure that all delivery is inclusive, and based on needs of specific programme and/or individuals.
- Assess monitor, analyse and report on team and individual player physical and physiological information using relevant technologies and interventions.
- Fully utilise data collection systems – analyse, store and monitor all relevant data, providing feedback to players and staff as relevant
- Implement individual and group strength and conditioning programmes using appropriate periodised plans, modalities, loading and injury minimisation strategies in collaboration with medical team.
- Supporting the Sports Medicine department with the design and implementation of Return to Play objective markers.
- Work with less experienced coaches to support their development.

What we are looking for in you:
- Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or PGCE or Cert-Ed
- HND/Degree or equivalent in Sport Related Subject
- Qualified Teacher status
- UEFA C Coaching Minimum
- Current FA Safeguarding Certification and First Aid Certification
- Experience of working with young people
- Organisational ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work flexibly
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative attitude
