We are seeking an experienced and motivated Casual Referee Coordinator to oversee the appointment, development, and support of referees across our Academy Games Programme (U9–U21). You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth match operations, fostering a high-quality refereeing environment, and contributing to the development of both referees and players.

Please note, this role is a casual role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead referee coordination for Academy fixtures (U9–U16) and PDP friendly matches (U18–U21).
  • Ensure all fixtures are covered by appropriately qualified referees.
  • Maintain up-to-date referee databases, including contact details, allocations, and match fees.
  • Recruit, develop, and support referees to enhance match quality.
  • Create and deliver CPD opportunities, including observation and feedback sessions.
  • Attend weekend fixtures to provide on-the-ground support and live feedback.
  • Liaise closely with Academy staff, referees, parents, and Birmingham County FA.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and club policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Referee qualification (Level 2B or above).
  • Valid UK driving licence.
