Birmingham City Football Club is looking for a creative and dynamic Midweight Graphic Designer to join our Fan Experience team within the Marketing, Media & Brand department. This exciting role will see you supporting the Men’s and Women’s teams, Academies, and BCFC Foundation, as well as working with Commercial, Retail, and Events departments. You’ll collaborate with our brand, design, marketing, and social media teams to produce high-quality visual assets across a variety of platforms, from retail merchandise and digital media to live events and in-stadium signage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce artwork for all projects in line with brand style across areas of the business including retail, ticketing, memberships, and commercial events.
- Develop seasonal visual styles for business areas that are creative, audience-focused, and on brand.
- Design assets for BCFC websites and social media channels, including static and animated graphics.
- Create email templates for various departments across the business.
- Ensure consistent and high-quality output following the Club’s brand guidelines.
- Manage time and workload effectively to deliver quick turnaround without compromising quality.
- Actively contribute to the planning and creative stages of design projects.
- Share new ideas and stay up to date with industry and design trends.
- Act as brand guardian for Birmingham City Women, overseeing all BCWFC creative assets.
- Confidently pitch and present ideas to senior staff as required.
- Carry out additional ad hoc duties as reasonably required in line with the evolving needs of the business.

- Ability to exceed supporter/customer expectations while operating within a budget
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) on Mac
- Strong understanding of planning, organisation, and creative standards
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication
- Awareness of competitor and industry activity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to show initiative, confidence, and professionalism
- Strong judgement, dependability, approachability, and collaborative skills
- Commitment to treating colleagues and clients with fairness and respect
- Video editing, animation, illustration or 3D drawing skills
- Experience in fast-paced environments producing high-quality work
- Confident presenting creative concepts to senior stakeholders
- Experience working in a sporting or stadium environment, particularly football
- Understanding of print processes
