Overview
The duties include participating in an out of hours on‑call rota including weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of 4 qualified Anatomical Pathology Technologists.
- Be employed in the Central Mortuary in Birmingham City Centre to provide post‑mortem services for the Birmingham and Solihull Coroner Area (population 1.3 million, around 1,700 post mortems annually).
- Attend an appropriate course and pass within the qualification timeframe; study toward a Level 3 Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology.
Qualifications and profile
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual; experience within the funeral/mortuary profession preferred but not essential.
