Birmingham City Council is seeking a passionate and proactive Tenant Participation Officer to join our Housing Department. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our tenants by empowering them to shape the services they receive and strengthen their communities. You will play a key role in developing and delivering tenant engagement strategies, supporting tenant groups, and ensuring that residents have a meaningful voice in housing-related decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tenant participation initiatives across Birmingham’s housing estates.
- Support and facilitate tenant and resident groups, forums, and panels.
- Promote inclusive engagement, ensuring diverse voices are heard and represented.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to improve service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate participation activities, reporting on outcomes and impact.
